About the Club
Wight Woodturners meet regularly on the 4th Thursday of every month.
Additional Club nights may be arranged as required and will be advertised.

Meetings start at 19:00

The Club’s annual membership subscription is currently £30 with an additional £3.00 ( refreshments includes ) when attending a Club meeting
​
Prospective members are welcome to attend up to three consecutive meetings before becoming full members.
Annual membership starts in January. If joining from July onwards the subscription is on a pro-rata basis.
Members and visitors who attend Club meetings are required to sign in with the Membership secretary on the door.

The Club has an events programme running throughout the year. These events usually include a monthly “Show & Tell” and lathe work demonstrations.
Professional Demonstrators are invited to the Club twice a year for a full day’s demonstration.
There are four Competitions of members turned work during the year with three classes – Beginners, Intermediate & Experienced.

The Club takes Health & Safety matters seriously and members are informed and encouraged to adopt safe methods for turning.
